The Platform does not guarantee:

  • Interviews;
  • Job offers;
  • Recruitment outcomes;
  • Candidate suitability.

 

  1. Eligibility

Users must be at least eighteen (18) years old or possess legal capacity under applicable laws to enter into binding agreements.

By registering, users warrant that all information provided is accurate and complete.

 

 

  1. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account confidentiality;
  • Securing login credentials;
  • Updating profile information;
  • All activities conducted through their accounts.

LabourMarket.pro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false or misleading information.

 

 

  1. Job Seeker Obligations

Job seekers agree to:

  • Submit authentic qualifications and credentials;
  • Refrain from impersonation;
  • Avoid fraudulent conduct;
  • Respect intellectual property rights.

Users shall not upload misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or harmful content.

 

 

  1. Employer Obligations

Employers agree to:

  • Publish genuine employment opportunities;
  • Comply with all applicable labour laws;
  • Refrain from discriminatory hiring practices;
  • Respect candidate privacy;
  • Maintain accurate company information.

Employers shall not solicit recruitment fees from candidates through the Platform.

 

 

 

  1. Recruitment Fee Protection

LabourMarket.pro does not authorize any employer, recruiter, agent, or third party to demand payment from candidates in exchange for employment opportunities.

Users are encouraged to report such requests immediately.

 

 

  1. Verification of Employers

LabourMarket.pro may conduct verification procedures on employers and organizations.

Verification indicates that reasonable checks have been conducted based on available information and documentation.

Verification does not constitute a guarantee of legitimacy, future conduct, financial stability, or hiring outcomes.

 

  1. Content Ownership

Users retain ownership of documents, resumes, profiles, photographs, and other materials submitted to the Platform.

By uploading content, users grant LabourMarket.pro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for recruitment and employment-related purposes.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, trademarks, logos, designs, databases, graphics, content, and proprietary materials remain the exclusive property of LabourMarket.pro.

No part of the Platform may be copied, reproduced, sold, or distributed without prior written consent.

 

  1. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

  • Post fraudulent vacancies;
  • Submit false information;
  • Engage in identity theft;
  • Scrape or harvest data;
  • Distribute malware;
  • Circumvent security controls;
  • Harass other users;
  • Engage in phishing or deceptive practices.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

 

  1. Artificial Intelligence Services

Where artificial intelligence tools are provided, including job recommendations, candidate matching, rankings, skills assessments, or analytics, such outputs are generated automatically and are intended solely as decision-support tools.

Users remain responsible for independent assessment and decision-making.

 

  1. Privacy

Collection, processing, storage, and disclosure of personal information shall be governed by the LabourMarket.pro Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

LabourMarket.pro shall not be liable for:

  • Hiring decisions;
  • Employment disputes;
  • Salary disagreements;
  • Workplace conduct;
  • Candidate misconduct;
  • Employer misconduct;
  • Loss of profits;
  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

 

  1. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless LabourMarket.pro, its officers, employees, directors, affiliates, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from their use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

 

 

  1. Suspension and Termination

LabourMarket.pro may suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice where users violate these Terms or applicable laws.

 

  1. Modifications

LabourMarket.pro reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform following modifications constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
